New in the shop, we brought in this version of Cordoba’s travel guitars. They sound so much better than any other travel guitar we’ve run across lately. Even with the stock strings and still needing to open up, the overall tone of this guitar is fabulous. It’s playability is impressive as well with the wide, shorter neck, and quality construction throughout. Comes with a pre-installed pickup and comes with a gig bag to make traveling with a guitar easy. It will fit under most airline seats. It’s tuned up higher than standard tuning so it might not be for gigging, but for solo play it’s remarkable.
From the manufacturer: Cordoba is proud to introduce the latest addition to the Cordoba Mini Series: the Mini SM-CE. At first glance, the Mini SM-CE clearly stands out from other travel sized guitars, with its solid cedar top and striking spalted maple back and sides accentuated by a padauk rosette and binding. The solid cedar top provides a warm tone that’s nicely complemented by the brightness of the spalted maple, resulting in an instrument that really projects its voice. For those who want to plug and play, the Cordoba Mini SM-CE features a soft cutaway and Cordoba 2Band pickup. The hallmark of Cordoba’s Mini guitars is the comfortable feel and string spacing of a full size guitar. The Mini SM-CE also includes a thin U-shaped neck outlined with padauk binding, 50mm (1.96”) nut width, and 510mm (20”) scale length. The strings are tuned up to A. It includes a Cordoba gig bag, making it the ideal companion for road trips, vacations, and hanging out at home.
