You know how when you visit guitar stores all the sales staff are either 20-somethings wearing t-shirts for bands with names and imagery encouraging you not to find out more about them, or old guys with beards leftover from bands they can’t remember? (Those are stereotypes and bad jokes, but you know those guys, right?) Generally if you talk to those guitar guys, they’re going to recommend bigger and louder. They’ll sell you too big and too heavy guitars if you let ’em. Often however it makes more sense to be playing a human sized guitar with a rational fretboard and a high quality build. You might want to upgrade from entry-level instruments for a better sound, but don’t need a full sized guitar since it can often make practicing less productive. Here’s where the Cadete comes into your life. It’s well made, it sounds lovely, it’s a step up from our entry level stuff (a big step) and it’s nice to play and won’t make you wrastle it. We’ll match Amazon’s price on this guitar and we’ll set it up properly for you. Call or text 303-984-0777 for an appointment to rawk.
From Cordoba: The Cadete is a handmade 3/4 size nylon string guitar built with a solid cedar top and mahogany back and sides. Its traditional 7-fan bracing produces a rich Spanish sound in spite of its reduced string length (615mm scale length). Beautiful hand-crafted elements such as an all-natural wood rosette, Indian rosewood binding, and a lightweight gloss PU finish distinguish the Cadete from other entry-level guitars in its price range. Like all Córdoba guitars, a lightweight adjustable truss rod is built into the neck for stability.
